What You Can Expect from Us

Step 1: Submit an Inquiry Form

The first step to working with our clinic is to submit an inquiry form. This will take 5 minutes to complete and will let us know if you are looking for primary care and functional mental health or just functional mental health. Our new patient coordinator will review your form and contact you.

Step 2: Intake Call & Scheduling

During this call, our coordinator will:

  • Review your health history

  • Learn what kind of support you’ve received in the past

  • Learn more what you’re hoping for now

  • Make sure we’re the right fit

This is also when we match you with the provider who best aligns with your needs.

To prepare, it’s helpful to have:

  • Contact info for your primary care provider

  • Your prescriber (if different)

  • Your therapist or counselor

  • Recent lab work (within the past year)

At the end of this call, we’ll schedule your first appointment.

You’ll receive access to your secure Charm portal and complete your new patient paperwork within one week of scheduling.

Step 3: Your First Appointment (60 Minutes)

Your first visit is 60 minutes and can be in person or virtual.

We take a comprehensive look at your:

  • Mental health

  • Emotional health

  • Physical health

  • Medical and social history

  • Personal goals

We care about questions like:

  • What’s bringing you here?

  • What feels off?

  • What would feeling better look like for you?

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we explore the bigger picture and potential root causes.

At the end of this visit, your provider may recommend lab work, genetic testing, or additional assessments
to help guide your treatment plan.

Step 4: First Follow-Up (45 Minutes)

Your first follow-up visit is typically scheduled 3–4 weeks after your initial appointment.

During this 45-minute session, we:

  • Review lab results

  • Discuss findings

  • Explore treatment options

  • Begin building your personalized plan

Treatment options may include:

  • Conventional psychiatric care

  • Medication management

  • Naturopathic therapies

  • Functional medicine approaches

  • Lifestyle and nutrition support

  • Counseling referrals

This is collaborative. You’ll never be handed a rigid plan, and we’ll talk through what feels realistic based
on your time, energy, and budget.

Ongoing Care & Adjustments

In the beginning, follow-ups are usually every 3–4 weeks so we can:

  • Monitor how you’re responding

  • Make thoughtful adjustments

  • Support steady progress

As you move into maintenance, visits may become less frequent based on your needs and what you
decide with your provider.

Healing is not linear, and it’s not one-size-fits-all. We adjust the pace and approach based on your individual needs.

Diagnostics & Assessments

We consider ourselves diagnosis-neutral.

People are complex, and no one fits neatly into a label. That said, diagnoses can sometimes be helpful for:

  • Insurance reimbursement

  • Understanding your experience

  • Connecting to evidence-based resources

If you’re seeking diagnostic clarity, we offer thoughtful, collaborative assessments.

What You Can Expect From Us

Clear communication

  • Collaborative decision-making

  • Integrative care options

  • Respect for your lived experience

  • A pace that honors your capacity

We’re here to build care that fits your life, not the other way around.
